Bio: A retired professor of German at the University of Colorado, Wes enjoys his interaction with Boulder's many superb musical organizations. His years in Europe, he feels, set the standards that he brings to his work. He recalls with awe performances in Berlin and Vienna conducted by - among others - Wilhelm Furtwaengler, Bruno Walter and Walter Klemperer.
