Bio: I'm a proud Colorado native who grew up in Arvada working for the Arvada West High School newspaper before attending the University of Northern Colorado, where I earned a degree in journalism and political science.

I've worked for newspapers throughout my life because I believe they are still the best and most complete source of information today. My journalistic passions include writing about people, police and local government.

The best part of my job is meeting someone new almost every day, and preserving their stories through print.
