Beat: Business Reporter
Bio: Alicia Wallace spent all but the first 11 months of her life in Colorado. The beauty of the land and its people kept her here and attracted her to Boulder, where she attended the University of Colorado. During her time at CU's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Wallace was active in both internships and the Campus Press, the university's student newspaper. As the Camera's business reporter, Wallace covers companies, consumer issues, and industry and economic trends within Boulder and Broomfield counties. During her time at the Camera, Wallace has specialized in covering the natural products industry. Boulder -- which bred companies such as Celestial Seasonings, Horizon Organic and Wild Oats -- is often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of the natural products industry."
Started at the Camera: 2003
