BENNETT — The man responsible for a murder-suicide involving three people is the "Spam King" Edward Davidson who escaped from a minimum-security federal prison Sunday in Florence, according to a source from the U.S. attorney's office.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the shooting deaths of three people — a 3-year-old girl, a man and a woman found dead this morning near this rural community 36 miles east of Denver.

Mark Campbell, Arapahoe County undersheriff, said authorities have not made positive identification but believe the victims are family members.

Davidson, 35, was sentenced in April to serve 21 months in federal prison for his role in sending hundreds of thousands of unsolicited fraudulent e-mails touting certain penny stocks as excellent investments.

He also was ordered to pay $714, 139 in restitution to the Internal Revenue Service and to forfeit gold coins and other property he had purchased with ill-gotten gains.

Davidson had escaped from a minimum-security federal prison in Florence, after his wife, Amy Lee Ann Hill, 29, of Lakewood, had visited him.

Davidson allegedly jumped into Hill's vehicle after the visit, and was last seen in Lakewood, after dropping off Hill at her parents' home on S. Fig Street. He was last seen in a 2006 silver Toyota Sequoia.

Details are still coming out, but it appears that the dead man was the gunman.

We'll update the story as we find out more.

"I bet he's a Republican too."

He probably was, and couldn't stand the thought of four more years of big government and fiscal irresponsibility with McSame in the White House.

My guess: wifey was happy when he was spamming and making big bucks. He gets busted and she bails on him. He says no bailing and does the murder/suicide thing.

Can't blame the feds on this one. It is unusual for a spammer to do this given the sentence was not that long.

You want to talk about cowards? How about the feds investigating who carried out 9/11 and prosecuting some of the powers that be for treason? Some of the feds have been actively covering up 9/11's government/corporate false flag operation.

How about the feds send those that negligently gave out loans and caused the current banking/mortage crises? 5.2 trillion dollars is at stake. How about the feds crack down on all the illegals hired at a certain major ski resort chain in Colorado? How about the feds close our boarders? Calling a dead man a coward is ridiculous.
