Rap group Public Enemy, originally scheduled to perform tonight at the Boulder Theater in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention, has rescheduled its concert to Wednesday night. Admission is free.
Protest group Re-create 68 had originally announced the band would perform a free show in Denver on Tuesday but Public Enemy leader Chuck D and the band's manager, Dan Lugo, denied that the band ever had agreed to perform such a concert.
Wednesday's concert in Boulder is presented by Mad Society Project, a student-run, activist, music and live production company based out of Boulder. Visit www.bouldertheater.com for more information.

Rescheduled? Perhaps they need to recover from the DWB they received when arriving in Boulder.

PE played the Boulder Theatre last year, with this unknown opening band "Flobots." It was an excellent show.
In return, I think we sent the Indigo Girls to Compton. It's only fair.

Read their record for yourself, but even free I wouldn't support this group due to their homophobic and anti-Semitic lyrics and public statements.

Are there really that many people in Boulder who actually like this kind of "music"? Not actually the best venue for this. Most of the audience will probably come from Denver I bet.

Bad music for stupid people. I wouldn't see them if they paid me.
