Dina and Mark Elder, of Gold Hill, were married Aug. 3, 1968, in Talladega, Ala.
The couple enjoys plowing their driveway over and over again, SCUBA diving and travel.
The couple founded Aztek Engineering.
Mark is a physician and electrical engineer.
Dina is a project manager.
They have two children: Meighan Elder, Boulder; and Devin Elder, of Redondo Beach, Calif. They have four grandchildren: Elliote, Haley, Sebastian and Claire.
They will celebrate with a backpacking trip this August and a family trip in November.
