Nicole Hawthorne, of Longmont, and Matt Wickett, of Mead, were married July 5, 2008, in Genesee. Rick Ebbers, of Journey Church in Longmont, officiated.
Nicole is the daughter of Norene Hawthorne and Doug Hawthorne, of Longmont.
Matt is the son of Vicki Wickett, of Mead, and Gary Wickett, of Longmont.
Attendants included bridesmaids: Heather Portillo, Laura Burlace, Lauren Babai, Coral Balcazar, and Amy Wickett. Groomsmen included: Thean Yang, Mike Moore, Chris Byrne, Kevin Sumida and Josh Beauette.
Nicole graduated from Niwot High School in 2000, and graduated with a bachelors degree in sociology from the University of Colorado in 2004. She is an account executive.
Matt graduated from Longmont High School in 1999, and graduated with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in business from the University of Colorado in 2004. He works in mechanical engineering.
The couple celebrated with a trip to Tulum, Mexico.
