Sarah Holine, of Carmel, Calif., and B.J. Carter, of Louisville, were married May 25, 2008, at Carmel Presbyterian Church. Pastor Brian Bajari and James Choung, InterVarsity director from San Diego, officiated.

Sarah is the daughter of Barbara Cate, of Carmel, and Rich and Karen Holine, of Oakland, Calif.

B.J. is the son of Diana and Chris Carter, of Louisville.

Sarah is an area director for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in San Diego. She graduated from Carmel High School in 1998 and the University of California, San Diego, in 2002, majoring in political science.

B.J. also works for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship on the University of California, San Diego, campus. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1999 and the University of San Diego in 2003, majoring in biology.

Attendants were Sadie Thomas, Monica Seo, Christine Cate, Ursula Damani, Kristina Crosetto, Chizu Shimizu, Chelsea Allen, Christopher Muller, Matthew Nault, Matthew Meyer, Jonah Hart, Beau Crosetto, Kenneth Harris and Colin Richard.

The couple celebrated in Costa Rica and Panama.
